It's Easy as A,B,C

We've changed up the Super A,B,C Extracted Juice Recipe - While we still make the old receipe at home (with Red Bell Pepper), there wasn't enough of a calling for Red Bell Pepper at the Shop, so we felt we needed to change it up.

This extracted Juice will provide you with FRESH, Fruits and Vegetables loaded with vitamins and minerals and antioxidants.  And it tastes absolutely delicious.

This Super A,B,C - depending on the size of your vegetables and the quality of your juicer should give you about 20 ounces.

Spinach - 1 Cup
Beets - 1 medium
Carrots - 3-4 depending on the size
Orange - 1 medium
Apple - 1 medium

What do these Fruits & Veggy's provide?
Spinach has twice the iron of other greens.  It is anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, protecting against cancer.  It purifies the blood, regulates the body’s pH and is a rich source of lutein, promoting eye health.  Spinach is also an excellent source of the B Vitamins, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, carotenes, folic acid, magnesium and manganese. (1 cup - 7 calories - Find out more about the benefits of  here)

Beets - are energizing.  They detoxify the liver, strengthen the heart, purify the blood, protect against cancer, promote healthy digestion and lower cholesterol.  Beets are full of Vitamin B6, fiber, magnesium, folic acid, iron, manganese, potassium and phosphorus. ( 1 medium beet - 58 calories - Find out more about the benefits of Beets here
Carrots benefit the health of your skin, eyes, digestion, heart and brain.  They boost your immune system, fight aging, protect against Alzheimer’s disease, osteoporosis, stroke, cancer, heart disease and high blood pressure and regulate blood sugar.  Carrots are full of beta-carotene, an antioxidant that converts to Vitamin A.  They are also full of the B Vitamins, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Niacin, Folic acid, manganese, potassium and fiber.  (1 medium raw carrot = 25 Calories = Find out more about the benefits of Carrots here )

Oranges provide relief from constipation, fight viral infections, help prevent kidney disease, support immune health, eye health, adrenal gland function, reproductive organs, connective tissue, gums, joints, and can lower high blood pressure and cholesterol.  Oranges are full of the B Vitamins, Vitamin C, fiber, folic acid, pantothenic acid, carotenes and potassium. (1 navell orange raw peeled - 95 calories - Find out more about the benefits of Oranges here)

Apples are a powerful antioxidant known to relieve digestive disorder.  They are a liver stimulant, diuretic, detoxify the body, have laxative and antiseptic effects, stabilize blood sugar, lower bad cholesterol and blood pressure and reduce risks of cancer, heart disease, asthma and Type 2 diabetes.  Apples are rich in Vitamin C, beta-carotene, folic acid, fiber, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and potassium. (1 medium Apple 65 calories - Find out more about the benefits of apples here )

Enjoy a Super A,B,C anytime at home, it's most enjoyable in the morning.  An if you don't have a Juice Extractor at home stop by The Daily Juicer (located at Yogurt Licious in Portsmouth, NH) for a sample!
EXTRACTED Juice is NOTHING like Juice made in a Blender or Bullet - It tastes like what you would expect a juice to taste like, smooth, clear, refreshing - Not chewy, lumpy, or thick. And fiber? Extraction removes the insoluble fiber, there's still plenty of fiber in the juice (let it sit for a minute and you'll see there is still a considerable amount of fiber in the glass) - Give it a try! Your body deserves it!

March Madness Juice

Great Breakfast Juice I concocted when I realized I was out of my normal ingredients!

I use the Cuisinart CJE1000 Juice Extractor -    This will make 16 ounces-

6 Carrots
1 Yellow Bell Pepper
2 Oranges Peeled
1/2 Cucumber (unpeeled)

Awesome Anytime!

For Those curious about the Calories,  I got these from entering just the individual ingredient used in the juice from MyFitnessPal.com.  What I am not sure about is how much this changes when you are Juicing, because you are removing the pulp.  Anyone want to chime in on this?
