It's that time of year! It's almost too cold to go outside. All the windows are buttoned up for the winta (at least in the east). Your breathing air that has been recirculated and if your in public places god knows who's been in and out of the places you frequent. Needless to say, you might find yourself feeling a little less than GREAT during this time of year
If you are getting your recommended daily intake of fruits and vegetables you are on your way to staying healthy.  Here are a just a TINY few of some daily additions you might want to include to increase your resistance! They are easy and quick and almost everyone likes them.

 There isn't just one thing that you should take to help prevent a cold or flu.  Rather its what you put in your body on a regular basis.  Vitamins, minerals, antioxidants—these are what keeps your body strong, and without them you're not giving your body the edge it needs to ward off infection."  Foods from every food group,  Make them a part of your diet for your best defense against colds and flu.

Eat or Juice More Apples - They are the most popular source of antioxidants in our diet. One apple has an antioxidant effect equivalent to 1,500 mg of vitamin C. and they are loaded with protective flavonoids, which may prevent heart disease and cancer. Raw or juiced you know what they say "An Apple A Day,.."
Monkey Around with Bananas  One of the top food sources of vitamin B6, Bananas help reduce fatigue, depression, stress and insomnia, and are high in magnesium, which keeps bones strong, and potassium, which helps prevent heart disease and high blood pressure. Eat it raw, cut it up and have it with some berries, Blend it in a Juice with some spinach and orange!

You Got A Lemon- That's A Good Thing!  Lemons are anti-bacterial, anti-viral, boost the immune system, aid in digestion, cleanse the liver, reduce fever, fight symptoms of cold and flue and help fight fatigue.  A juiced lemon is the most concentrated and potent form of Vitamin C and are rich in Vitiman B6, calcium, magnesium, potassium, folic acid and flavonoids. Add it to your juices or drink it with warm or cold water.

The list is endless-  JUST DO IT!  EAT OR DRINK your Fruits AND Vegetables and Stay Healthy this winter.

  2. Yes there is lot of benefits of drinking juices and i love to drink juice every day it keeps me healthy and i think every one should take it. I usually take apple and goji berry juices they are very healthy juices. I just love the post it is really very informative. Thanks
